The navigation should be more up like so It covers the ugly cut off of the picture and fits the site's space and design. :3

Thanks for the suggestions.
I think the gap will always be there, but I'll try to make the banner bigger to see if that changes anything. I'll do this tomorrow or on the weekend when I have free time.
